Branch Newsletter - Edition 2 - Your Health, Safety and Welfare

(05/10/09) With European health and Safety week approaching it seemed appropriate to dedicate this edition to just that - health and safety.

Health and Safety is a hot issue for many workplaces and few too many of us are aware of the dangers which could exist in our day to day working environment.

Thanks to the many health and safety stewards in UNISON (and not forgetting the members!) many accidents (and even deaths) are thankfully prevented.

We're dedicating this edition to equality - because we recognise that equality is an inseparable part of all trade union issues and is one of the four key priorities within UNISON.

The aim of our newsletters are to keep you informed of our activities, initiatives and most importantly, an opportunity to discuss issues that matter to you.
