(25/01/11) Further to the aims and strategy of the business in creating a closer working relationship between Premier Energy and Energy First (as part of Credit Energy), teams in the Change & Planning, Learning & Development and Resourcing were briefed of a re-organisational change affecting them.

British Gas Level 8 Pay Settlement
(10/11/10) 2.2% pay increase will be applied to all base rates with effect from 1st January 2011 for 12 months up to 31st December 2011. This has been agreed with the Trade Unions â?? UNISON and GMB and is the product of the long standing pay formula agreed by the NJCs.

Election of Member Trustees for the Centrica Pension Plan Scheme
(12/10/10) If you are a member of the Centrica Pension Plan you will hopefully be aware that there is an election underway for a member trustee. The deadline for voting is 25 October 2010. The trustees perform an important role in looking after the best interests of the pension scheme and its members. There are 3 member trustees elected by the scheme members plus 4 appointed by the company including an independent trustee. Trustees are elected for a three year term.
Karl Whitehead from British Gas â?? Cardiff - has been nominated to stand as a candidate.

Unison Moving Forward Inside British Gas Energy, Services And Business - Together Meeting The Challenges For The Decade Ahead.
(05/01/10) Unlike the GMB who appears to be fighting non - existing battles on non - existing issues UNISON is concentrating its efforts on dealing with the real challenges that face employees of British Gas. Members may be aware of a questionnaire being circulated to GMB's members. This has nothing whatsoever to do with UNISON or the work of the NJCs for Services and Residential Energy. The trade union teams who represent members on these two bodies are pleased with how industrial relations have improved over recent months. It's worth making clear that GMB is represented on both NJCs and is party to the debates and decisions taken.
