I know that your branch and your members employed by British Gas and /or Centrica are aware of the proposals by management to make some significant changes to the company’s existing pension provisions. Updated: Many thanks to all members who took part. The results of the consultative ballot is:

Question 1:

YES votes: 0% - NO votes: 100%

Question 2:

YES votes: 87.5% - NO votes: 8.75%

Other: 0.625% - YES to industrial action but not strike action

Invalid/Not Accepted: 3.125% - either because the forms were not correctly completed or are not members.

(01/05/08) Over the last week or so management have been briefing staff on the proposals to introduce a new pay and grading system for CSA employees. Alongside that UNISON representatives have been talking to members to get their responses.
