Alongside that UNISON representatives have been talking to members to get their responses. CONSULTATION - Proposed new CSA reward Arrangements - British Gas Energy

Centrica/British Gas Pensions - Consultation outcome shows a clear rejection by UNISON members

(31/03/08) A big thank you to all those UNISON members who took the time and trouble to send back their comments and objections to the company's pension plans. It is clear from the results that the overwhelming majority of respondents objected to the plans. The ball is now firmly back in the court of British Gas. UNISON hopes that cooler heads will now prevail and that the existing proposals from the company will be shelved in favour of a new approach that seriously tackles the deficiencies in the present pension provisions.
