CONSULTATION - British Gas Pensions Latest (28/05/08) Following a lengthy period of negotiation involving
the team of national UNISON representatives from BGS and BGRE and
also the pensions’ experts from both UNISON and the GMB, the company

YOUR VIEWS - new CSA pay and grading scheme - British Gas Energy (01/05/08) Over the last week or so management have been briefing
staff on the proposals to introduce a new pay and grading system for
CSA employees. Alongside that UNISON representatives have been
talking to members to get their responses. The new scheme has been
the subject of discussion with UNISON and GMB nationally for nearly
12 months and the time had come when members needed to be consulted
on their views.

CONSULTATION - Proposed new CSA reward Arrangements - British Gas Energy (07/04/08) The purpose of this circular is to consult members on the proposed new pay arrangements for CSA employees of BG Energy. Over the last few months UNISON and the GMB have been discussing the development of a new set of pay arrangements for CSA employees with BGE management. The point has now been reached when members need to be made fully aware of the proposals and their views on them sought.
Centrica/British Gas Pensions - Consultation outcome shows a clear rejection by UNISON members (31/03/08) A big thank you to all those UNISON members who took
the time and trouble to send back their comments and objections to
the company's pension plans. It is clear from the results that the
overwhelming majority of respondents objected to the plans. The ball
is now firmly back in the court of British Gas. UNISON hopes that
cooler heads will now prevail and that the existing proposals from
the company will be shelved in favour of a new approach that
seriously tackles the deficiencies in the present pension
provisions.
Annual General Meeting - Election results (30/03/08) We'd like to thank all members for participating at this year's annual general meeting.
At the AGM, members agreed to accept and elect the nominations for the forthcoming year.
