UNISON encourages its members to take responsible action and get involved. So check our active campaign issues in the UK and around the globe.

We also lend our support to a number of external campaigns run by like-minded organisations:

The Burma Campaign UK

Campaigns for human rights and democracy in Burma. BCUK works for the freedom of all the peoples of Burma regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or age. They provide analysis to the media and government, and lobby and campaign to improve government and commercial policy on Burma.

Ethical Trading Initiative
ethicaltrade.org

An alliance of companies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and trade union organisations committed to working together to identify and promote ethical trade.

Community HEART
community-heart.org.uk

A charity supporting self-help projects in South Africa. It aims to redress the inequalities and damage caused by apartheid. Community HEART and its partners in South Africa give priority to local health, education, and reconstruction training initiatives.
