Dear Member,

There's some news we'd like to tell all members employed in Centrica/British Gas. Please take a moment to read through today's headlines:-

• We need to talk: pensions!

Don't forget to let us know your views!

Many members will have attended the employer briefing sessions held last week over the proposed changes to the final salary ‘Centrica Pension Plan’.

Your trade union representatives would now like to invite members to discuss how the proposals may affect you and what can be done about it. Come and use the company calculator to get an indication of what your pension would be following the changes.

• Will you be able to afford it?
• Are you aware of the Pension Trustees’ obligations when making changes to the scheme? Do you know how to contact them?
• Have you considered all of the facts and how they may impact you?

What are your thoughts, views and aspirations? Come and talk to us! We’ll be visiting you on every floor at Callaghan Square. Simply come along to the following at any point within the times indicated (starting today):

Monday, 14th November

12.30pm-3pm: Floor 1 – Room 29

Tuesday, 15th November

9am-11am: Floor 3 – Room 10
11am-1pm: Floor 2 – Room 9
1pm-3pm: Floor 4 – Room 10
